Traditional Hummus

As good as Hummus gets!!!!.

  • Chickpeas boiled- 4 cups
  •  Organic extra virgin Olive Oil- 2 cups
  •  Tahini- 1 cup
  •  Garlic- 4 tsp
  •  Lemon Juice- 4 tbsp
  •  Water- 1 cup
  •  Salt- to taste
  •  Paprika or toasted sesame seeds for garnish.

Put all ingredients except Tahini in a blender with 1 cup oil. Once it’s all a big lump add in tahini and remaining 1 cup oil and pulse till it reaches the right texture.
When serving, sprinkle paprika powder or sesame seeds and drizzle some organic extra virgin olive oil as well.
Serve with carrot and cucumber sticks, or vegetable chips, or gluten free lavash!
